Use this category to compare surge protection devices for AC distribution, DC power and photovoltaic systems. The range includes Type 1, Type 1+2, Type 2 and Type 2+3 devices, together with dedicated SPD disconnectors.
Choose an SPD by system and installation point
- AC distribution: compare the network system, protection mode, pole configuration, continuous operating voltage and discharge-current ratings.
- PV and DC systems: confirm the maximum DC operating voltage and select a device designed for the relevant DC or photovoltaic application.
- Incoming and sub-distribution panels: select the SPD type and impulse or discharge-current capability for its installation position.
- SPD disconnectors: check compatibility with the selected surge protection device and the required short-circuit conditions.

For a model recommendation, provide the system voltage, AC or DC application, earthing or network system, installation position, required Type classification, nominal or maximum discharge current, pole configuration and whether remote signalling is required.
